For nearly a decade, and prior to the development of NeuroCoaching, I worked as a highly paid developmental editor at Tarcher/Putnam. Because of my friendship with Jeremy Tarcher. I was often assigned to writers whose manuscripts were highly problematic, like the 1000-page collection of quotes put together by bestselling authors James Redfield and Michael Murphy, and which literally had no comments from either of them (yes, they had to return the $750,000 advance they were given by the previous publisher).
