Really practical and interesting. Thanks.
Great…. but please apply your brain power to learning about “sound” when making a video. The sound was so unprofessional with three different speaking levels and a cell phone ringing and all the crackling.
Thank you for this gift!
My no 1 insight from this Video Conference is:
Balance of time dedicated to various life areas is important. Include personal enjoyment as a life area, too.
Thank you.
Very much appreciated … learning a lot…but need more..like a second one
Excellent : cause combines theory and practice …
To known what I do …how and the results of all of this
Burning question remains: why do I do – act in a certain way over and over again so making the same mistakes and getting the same negative (financial & emotional) outcome
You mentioned that you have a Training program where coaches and consultants can learn how to integrate NeuroWisdom into their practices…
wish i could do this training and integrate it…
….stop daydreaming …stop.. cause i do not live in the States and lack the financial means to make it ..
Daydreaming is sometimes painful…
The neuro tip that penetrates my brain the most is to slowly count backwards from 100 by 7’s….
Works like a charm to shut down those stress producing hormones.
I love you Mark! What a gift your research with Dr. Manning is to the world.
“I breathe in peace, I breathe out stress in 60 seconds or less! Getting smarter every minute.
Thank you so much for your kind words~
47 minutes in – the Neuroscience of Twitter!! LOL 😀
Also, one way to stop negative fear based thinking is to write it down. Writing it down moves activity in the brain from the amygdala to the prefrontal cortex. I don’t know why they did not mention this fact. Then, and I know Waldman will disagree, focus on your heart, take a few deep breaths, and think of something you love or appreciate. This is so simple. Hope it helps.
Yes, when you write down negative thoughts and worries on a sheet of paper (the C.R.A.P. Board exercise described in the book and which you are guided through in NeuroWisdom 101), and then you mindfully relax (essential step) and gaze at the negativity, activity in the threat centers of the brain (including the amygdala), is reduced.
I enjoyed this webinar. Thank you!! I did hear an ongoing sound distraction, mechanical, slow scraping-like sound.
Loved the webinar! I have NeuroWisdom 101 and this webinar really helped…can’t wait to get the book to learn more!
Team Waldman, Will the Q&A be avail all w/e? I had to stop and start a few times. Love, love, love that I can do this to take notes. Love this quote today from: Dr Chris Manning
“…Get out of that negative spiral that is so deadly and goes nowhere, own their motivation, clear thinking so they can enjoy their creativity and awareness and be fully alive and become successful personally and professionally.” Thanks so much!
Hi Mark, it’s Nita here ?
You mentioned about a study done in Harvard on the stress reducing genes and turn on immune enhancing genes. I didn’t catch the name of the researcher. Would you mind sharing the name? Enjoyed the webinar very much!
As you know, Mark is famous for his comprehensive neuroscience research…no woo here! Here’s Benson’s article that Mark referred to, one of the 4 articles you can look into on pubmed.gov:
PLoS One. 2008 Jul 2;3(7):e2576.
Genomic counter-stress changes induced by the relaxation response.
Dusek JA1, Otu HH, Wohlhueter AL, Bhasin M, Zerbini LF, Joseph MG, Benson H, Libermann TA.
Thank you so much for that info. I’m his student – it’s the evidence based research that made me decide to join his Neurocoach program. So excited to start to start on March 1 and I’m enjoying the NeurpWisdom materials 🙂
great webinar! Thank you so much Mark and Chris! love, love, love
thank you!
You mentioned that you have a Training program where coaches and consultants can learn how to integrate NeuroWisdom into their practices? I’d like to become a coach..do you take beginners?
Yes, Mark has a very comprehensive experiential training program that has gained world-wide respect. He trains beginning coaches, licensed therapists, teachers, and corporate consultants using live and recorded internet/webinar technology. For a detailed FAQ sheet and complete course description go here: http://markrobertwaldman.com/certification/ or send an email with your questions to markwaldman@sbcglobal.net
PS: the new class begins March 1, 2017, but there’s only one space left (classes are limited to 12 students). A new class will begin September 1, but register early!
Thank you…I’m finding this very very helpful…so many new strategies I look forward to applying to my stress-fillwed job
Can NeuroWisdom 101 be used simultaneously with other audio programs like WTGM or Having it all by John Assaraf
Absolutely! John and Mark have coordinated both of their programs to complement each other. In fact, Mark’s audio program will train your brain in ways that will make listening to any other program more effective. Remember: you’re learning how to mindfully listen with less neurological stress and this allows your brain to make better choices and more effective plans. The book NeuroWisdom will give you nearly 100 evidence-based strategies to improve your personal, social, and work life, and the audio program will deepen the process because reading doesn’t fully engage the learning centers of the brain.

Hi. Sheryl here from Canada
welcome Sheryl!
Having some devastating feelings due to emerging memories from early childhood. Any suggestions?
I strongly recommend that you send Mark a note to markwaldman@sbcglobal.net and briefly describe the disturbing memories. NeuroCoaching involves one of the most effective strategies for reducing traumatic memories and is now being tested with combat veteran groups to demonstrate how traumas can be reduced in just a couple of sessions.
Relaxation and going deeply into a meditative state will help you move through grief in a healthy way. If you stay relaxed and trust your inner intuitive processes, you’ll discover so many amazing facts, feelings, and insights. Grief is a core emotional experience relating to loss. Grief, and the sadness you feel, will come in waves, perhaps for the rest of your life. Notice that there is a sweetness to genuine grief, and if you “savor” the experience, you’ll actually increase your social and empathic skills. But if the grief bothers you, you may be suppressing deeper feelings or fears. If you really get stuck when going through grief, loss, sadness, or fear, a single neurocoaching session with Mark will usually solve the issue and give you new permanent tools to use in the future. brochure: markwaldman@sbcglobal.net. Hi Mark and Chris! Adam here from rainy Southern California
Welcome everyone!
Please enjoy the webinar and post your comments and questions. You may have to refresh the screen to see your comments and the responses.
Your webinar has background music cutting in and out and is very distracting.
No background music in the actual webinar video conference. Could be interference on your line. Unsure what this would be.
Welcome everyone to our webinar! Announce yourself, tell us where you are from? And if you have questions, we’ll answer a few at the end and we’ll send you an email with answers to your other questions!
Mary Ellen , Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Glad to be here.
Welcome!
Is there a way to get out of devastating grief for a daughter who passed 4 mos. ago, and activate my professional career?
The research shows that mindfulness practices really help (the NeuroWisdom 101 audio program will give you those skills) but the best advice is to ALLOW your grief to creatively unfold in any way it wants to, to “savor” those feelings as they emerge, and to share your process with others who care for you.
